Each pregnancy is certainly different! Emily in the womb was a baby that moved and moved and moved! I would lay down at night and seriously watch my belly expand as she moved from one side to the other - I never knew your skin could stretch that much! Henry would always laugh and say she was practicing some martial arts or something. Katie was a very gentle baby in the womb - the kind where you did have to go lay down and do kick counts to make sure she was ok. This baby...is very strong. There is no denying when he decides to move! He is somewhere in between the two as far as activeness.
Perhaps with this pregnancy I have appreciated time more than ever! With the first two, the 20 week mark hit and I was so happy that the pregnancy was half over. By 28 weeks (I'm currently 28 weeks) I was ready to have the baby NOW - not because I was so uncomfortable but because I couldn't wait to meet the new little bundle. It would be safe to assume I struggle with patience! ;) With this pregnancy I am really enjoying every stage. I am not feeling rushed. I know that in a few short months we will meet face to face and life will change in a way that I don't feel I can prepare for. I am definitely nervous about having 3, so maybe keeping one safely tucked inside is something I can truly appreciate! :)
On a side note...and to go with the complete randomness of my thoughts...Mom got a swingset on Freecycle today! It is in very good condition, with 2 swings, a hangy bar (what, you want a more technical term?!), a very low teeter totter (I hate teeter totters having got thrown from a few when I was younger), and a small slide! We have it set up at Mom & Dad's house right now. The 12ft trampoline that she found last year with a "free" sign on it a few driveways down from there's will be at our house for the girls. Pretty spoiled kids we have - and all for the cost of...well the gas to pick it up I suppose!
